our hosts give
7 Inaki Isasi Flores (Spa) Euskaltel-Euskadi in the Vuelta Asturias @

whilst also giving
40 Inaki Isasi Flores (Spa) Euskaltel-Euskadi in the Tour de Romandie @
http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/tour-de-romandie-upt/stage-2/results
either Inaki Isasi is superman or cyclingnews.com is guilty of some sloppy journalism.
(for anyone interested, such as cyclingnews.com, the UCI or even the Tour de Romandie race website, it is Jon Izaguirre who is riding in Romandie and Isasi is in the Vuelta Asturias)

Part of Superman's disguise was that he never used his superpowers, and appeared as a mild-mannered normal human being, outside of when needed.

That's why Isasi has got away with it so long. If he were outsprinting Cav and then outclimbing Conti, people would ask questions about whether he was Superman.

they rode incredible average on this stage of over 43 km/h!

Not that special anymore these days. They rode an average of 41.68km/h at Liège-Bastogne-Liège this year.

appearantly the 6 leaders were send into wrong directions by police in the final 5 km and the peloton had decided to protest

From what I can gather, the breakaway had 20 seconds with 4 or 5 km to go and the Guardia Civil sent them and the peloton the wrong way. Rubén Jiménez (Burgos 2016) had been dropped from the bunch and as he was led through the correct route he found himself in the lead while the peloton stopped for 15 minutes to protest. Rubén Jiménez was the first across the finish line, but then the peloton rode the final kilometers and Förster won the sprint, and the jury decided Jiménez was last in the stage.
