If Montana has 2011 climbing legs then he's the only one who can beat El Nino. Cano doesn't stand a chance. He's worse then Sevilla in both climbing and time trial.
no way cano. has always been a lot better than sevilla at climbingpink_jersey said:EPM team si way too strong for anyone here. Sevilla, Duarte, Suarez, Beltran, Sarmiento..

Having a double license, apparently, but if you''re asking what that means I haven't really been able to figure it out either. I assume it means they took out a Colombian racing license while also having an Italian one, but that's just speculation on my part. Why the UCI cares is beyond me.gospina said:Can someone tell me why the UCI suspended Rubiano?
Yesterday he was on Italian TV (Radiocorsa) with Beppe Conti, he talked a bit about Froome and a few Colombians who rode for him (mosty Atapuma and Chaves).carton said:Having a double license, apparently, but if you''re asking what that means I haven't really been able to figure it out either. Edit: They apparently also had a Chinese license, for some reason. Indulging in a little more baseless speculation it might be one of those Etape du Tour things were you need a local license to do an event, apparently that's illegal or illegal at a pro level. Seems like a trivial thing to kick someone out of a major race for, but YMMV. In a completely unrelated thought, I wonder what Claudio Corti's up to these days?
Awfully helpful again, thanks.Mayomaniac said:Yesterday he was on Italian TV (Radiocorsa) with Beppe Conti, he talked a bit about Froome and a few Colombians who rode for him (mosty Atapuma and Chaves).
And all the riders will once again life in a hotel that is owned by one of his friends.slosada said:I thought Corti was luring another 3rd world country authorities into having a pro team, for 3 million euros.
Only 3 seconds behind Alex Cano for 3rd. Hope he can pull it off. Meanwhile, Hernan Aguirre...LosBrolin said:Very nice TT by Aldemar Reyes, sitting 4th overall atm!

Reyes is still 4th, now 20 seconds behin Cano. Hernan Aguirre finished 22nd today, but Bernardo Suaza finished 18th and has now moved up to 11th on gc, he has been flying under the radar until now, but maybe he'll prove that winning the 2014 Giro Ciclistico della Valle d'Aosta wasn't just a fluke.
Suaza is also more than 10kg heavier than Reyes and Aguirre, both of them are really skinny, at least for Colombian standarts.Arredondo said:Mayomaniac said:It looks like Ortega has finally gained old men strength.![]()

Suaza was already quite strong in last years Vuelta a Colombia, getting 3rd in a tough mountain stage and finishing in the top-20 overall.
He's not a big talent like Reyes or Aguirre, who are able to really fight with the big guys here and fighting for the podium. But if you compare him with Aguirre, he's a guy who is quite regular. He never really falters or having an off-season.
That's also good enough to be a good pro.
