manzana postobon and in general saldarriaga seems to have completely lost it now for several seasons, all his talents start to suck when they ride for him

True. Especially Aguirre. What's wrong with him?

He was so strong last year in this race :(

EPM team si way too strong for anyone here. Sevilla, Duarte, Suarez, Beltran, Sarmiento..
If Montana has 2011 climbing legs then he's the only one who can beat El Nino. Cano doesn't stand a chance. He's worse then Sevilla in both climbing and time trial.

Not in climbing. He can put Sevilla under pressure in the mountains. He showed that in 2013.

Can someone tell me why the UCI suspended Rubiano?
Having a double license, apparently, but if you''re asking what that means I haven't really been able to figure it out either. I assume it means they took out a Colombian racing license while also having an Italian one, but that's just speculation on my part. Why the UCI cares is beyond me.

Edit: They apparently also had a Chinese license, for some reason. Indulging in a little more baseless speculation it might be one of those Etape du Tour things were you need a local license to do an event, apparently that's illegal or illegal at a pro level. Seems like a trivial thing to kick someone out of a major race for, but YMMV. In a completely unrelated thought, I wonder what Claudio Corti's up to these days?

Yesterday he was on Italian TV (Radiocorsa) with Beppe Conti, he talked a bit about Froome and a few Colombians who rode for him (mosty Atapuma and Chaves).

I thought Corti was luring another 3rd world country authorities into having a pro team, for 3 million euros.

And all the riders will once again life in a hotel that is owned by one of his friends. :D
I hope that other federations know his reputation, another country with young, interesting prospects getting fooled by him would be sad.
Back to the Vuelta, today we have the Alto de Las Palmas MTT and I just realized that Salvador Moreno is one again riding the Vuelta a Colombia, he wasn't great on the first uphill finish, but I kinda expect him to go full *** in the MTT.

It looks like Ortega has finally gained old men strength. :D
Reyes is still 4th, now 20 seconds behin Cano. Hernan Aguirre finished 22nd today, but Bernardo Suaza finished 18th and has now moved up to 11th on gc, he has been flying under the radar until now, but maybe he'll prove that winning the 2014 Giro Ciclistico della Valle d'Aosta wasn't just a fluke.

Suaza was already quite strong in last years Vuelta a Colombia, getting 3rd in a tough mountain stage and finishing in the top-20 overall.

He's not a big talent like Reyes or Aguirre, who are able to really fight with the big guys here and fighting for the podium. But if you compare him with Aguirre, he's a guy who is quite regular. He never really falters or having an off-season.

That's also good enough to be a good pro.

Suaza is also more than 10kg heavier than Reyes and Aguirre, both of them are really skinny, at least for Colombian standarts.
