Guys, when you're all tipping the rider who won the single biggest stage race as the 'surprise of the race', consider that a good performance from Lopez will probably not be surprising. Anyway, the traditional Vuelta surprise is in their mid-twenties at least and has been around the block as a domestique (Cobo was 30, Froome was 26, Horner was 97, Chaves was 25).
