Adding Kruisjwik -- however you spell his name -- and Bardet, if they can work, certainly helps. 1:20. It may be up to Nibali to motivate a chase. I don't think Froome cares who's behind him as long as the gap is enough...

How is Yates still gaining time... he's a monster
FWIW I think once the GC group starts to accelerate Lopez-Contador group will be caught quickly.

I can't imagine Froome would want Lopez and Contador anywhere near him given some of those climbs in the last week, where the gradients could lead to some big-time cracking. I doubt he'd be too comfortable with even a two minute lead on someone like Lopez going into Angliru.

Looks like Froome taking in lots of gels. Maybe not feeling too great today?

Yates is more rested and doing a good ride.

I'm starting to think that there is something wrong with Froome, or he's really playing with fire here.

You've got to think Nibali has missed the boat a bit here. Seems a bad time to be attacking on these slopes.

Nibali goes so the Sky train accelerates... gap should come down soon but Yates still looking good.
