Froome will lose marginal gains because he is not wearing his standard Sky jersey :D
didnt seem to bother him in the tour de france when he was wearing the yellow jersey instead of the special suit in the final ITT

this is an important stage for froome to enter in the history of cycling he will not risk to blow himself in the last week by going full *** today

The time cutoff is 35% behind the winner's time, so even Skujins and Moscon are in no danger of missing the cut. 35% is a pretty generous buffer; it was 25% at the Tour.

i will really surprise if after le tour and two top 2 weeks at la vuelta he will be at the same level in those 5 stages left so he sacrifice a stage win in order to not risk to blow himself because the last 4 stages he could lose more than 2 minutes

Relatively small differences in the top 10 so far. Makes me think not much shifting in the GC either. Bar 1 or 2 who underperform

ludvigsson too much power , just gone speeder but he was unable to mantain the same speed as kamna did

Gap was 16s at first check, 19s at second and 23s at finish unable to maintain speed?
you answer yourself he gain 16 seconds in 13 km but in last 27 gain only 7 seconds so.....

Well, to me Ludvigsson was faster than Kämna in all 3 sections, I think he maintained the speed very well.
well kamna was 49.8 at 13 km at the end 49,7 , ludvigsson was 50,7 at 13km but 50,1 at the finished so he was unable to mantain the same speed till the end

That is a way to look at it, I however see it like this . Ludvigsson had a perfect ride, Kämna on the other hand started to slow.. :D

I think Froome will hold back only if the gaps on the road suggest he can. Otherwise, he'll go all out. The tt is where he can gain more than the others can recover in the mountains.

Cool quote reported by CN's live feed----

Tobias Ludvigsson (FDJ) has revealed the secret of his great ride.

“After I did the recon, I asked the mechanic to put on a 58 tooth chainring. You can save energy that way when you push it but you also need good legs too,” he said.

however there is no sense in doing tt this long in modern cycling really no more than 30 km is ideal lentgh

Please go back to your office and stay there, Mr. Preudhomme.
