Contador still hasn't won the combativity award in any of the stages so far. Obviously he will win it at the end but still seems strange.

It's not strange if you know how it's awarded. The candidates are selected well before the stage finish (45 minutes or so) and then Spanish TV sets a poll in their web site. The audience vote through the web. I don't know the exact mechanism, it could be via social network message or the like. The poll is closed before the stage finish. With that timeframe for the opening and the closing of the poll even the choice of candidates is questionable. Public vote makes the rest.

My fear is the conditions will make a mess on the Angliru with cars and motos. Biggest one is that it isn't a fair fight when rider A can get through well while rider B gets held up. Happens too often.

the app is very poor. The website works most of the time.

But the app (on iphone, android or ipad, doesn't matter) gets a lot of issues. Like now it won't let me connect either. Luckily I'm at home and I can watch sporza now.

For example, in my region I can't see today's stage, Premier league is on. Good that TV Eurosport HD has it.

I watch from the US using a VPN so maybe that has something to do with why it doesnt work well for me, but it just loses connection a lot, have to reload it etc, and the illegal streams never have that problem =)

The best bit about the player is the stored videos of all the stages so if you are working or miss the stage you can relive it all. Normally I have no problems with it but today is not a good day for this ...

Also the player has a stream with no adverts which is really nice.

The tiz stream seems good enough though.
