Always amazes me how, during an activity as dangerous as flying down 10% gradients at 90 kph on 2 bits of 27mm wide rubber, people would like to see it made an even more dangerous spectacle by having it done with virtually no traction, just for their own viewing pleasure. It's part of cycling, I get that, but it just seems as blood thirsty as boxing fans wanting to see one guy carried out on a stretcher. Weird.
I'm hoping it stays dry, everyone gets down safe and it's a great race anyway.

Raining means Contador chances doubled: stage win from 1 to 2%, overall from 0.1 to 0.2 %.
I hope it won't be cancelled!!Climbing said:**** my life, hopefully the huge headwind won't ruin this.![]()
From the Vuelta clip posted earlier it seems the wind blows East to West. During the final climb that is upwind! They might break Heras record!Climbing said:**** my life, hopefully the huge headwind won't ruin this.![]()
