"My story ends, not far from where it started
My weary limbs have grown old
I've seen the world through the eyes of a nomad
Home is where the heart is I've been told"

The time has come to finish up this Vuelta. And what a Vuelta it was. The tale of a great champion achieving his greatest heights and the story of his predecessor saying his last goodbyes. Time to drink champagne and enjoy a final few laps of victory.

Goodbye Campeón, you will be missed

Regarding the green jersey if Trentin doesn't score at the intermediate sprint it will go to Froome, if he scores and finishes outside of the top two it goes to Froome.

Trentin needs 3rd or better at the INT and he Stage win I believe as that would tie him with Froome and he will have more stage wins, no?

Will Alberto Contador win this bike race?
That would be greedy. Alberto Contador is a man of class, not greed. No. Enric Mas helped tremendously today, Contador has a favour to repay to Team EQS. Therefor, he will attack with Matteo Trentin just before the first intermediate sprint, ride away together and finish some 3'06" before the peloton containing the race leader, gifting the stage to Matteo Trentin.

The other possibility is a DNF due to massive hangover.

:D
Anyway, for last time:
Alberto Contador will win this bike race.

Stannard should go solo 4km out to deny Trentin.

This seems like a good opportunity for Sky to play nice. Let Trentin have green if he can get it, I doubt it means much to Froome or Sky anyway.

My heart - and slightly nationalistic tendencies - says Cort for the stage.
My head says Trentin.

With the sprinters at this Vuelta, Froome could probably top 10 with ease for the green jersey if he really wants

John Degenkolb will win this bike race. Alberto with a leadout.

Dekengolb withdrew a while ago with illness. There's a reason Trentin has had such a successful Vuelta ;)

Would be funny if QS worked to make sure there's no breakaway ahead at the intermediate, allowing Trentin to take the points, only for Moscon to outsprint Trentin for the stage and his leader's green

Well in that scenario Trentin could still win with 2nd on the stage, I think. So Moscon and Froome...

Froome's probably going to cross the finish line in a line with his team. Didn't do it at the Tour because of the small margins

I think Trentin needs to win the stage to have any chance right? Only 20 points for second at the finish, max 4 at the sprint and he is 25 behind.
