am I mistaken or did Kreuzinger say he was skipping the worlds and looking for a result in the Vuelta if so I'd like to see who Liquigas is sending for he and my pick Nibali.

If Menchov wins Contador would probably feel stupid for not participating him self. They both went full out in the Tour and if Menchov is able to win this Vuelta perhaps Contador could have done the same. But then again, Contador looked like hell after the last time trial in the Tour.

Menchov didn't race before the Tour, Contador did. So even if Menchov will be competitive (which I doubt), there's no guarantee Contador would be competitive too.

He was up there in Paris-Nice, Volta a Catalunya and Fleche Wallonne.

That's 3 stage races, where he battled for the GC, and 2 one day races, which he tried to win. So you think he didn't peak in the spring?

I am not as positive about Nibali as i was a few weeks ago. I think something is happening that changed his concentration for the win
