Still only 25, has a bright future ahead of him and could turn into a impressive GC rider. Too bad he is a Frenchman, would love to see him doing and win the Giro next year

He likes going for stages but he was too impressive for his own good today, I don't see how he can't not GC soon, he'll be forced into it even. :D

If he'd performed a little worse maybe he could've had another year of stage hunting.

Asked whether he and Matthew would have a party in their room - for securing their respective jerseys - tonight:

"No, I still need to beat him. He has two victories, I only have one."

:D

Did hold his word.

Fantastic race by Barguil. Was here in a free role and no GC role this year, and he ends up with 2 stage wins, top 10 GC and the polka dot jersey. That's a special kind of awesome

One hell of a race for him. Would be interesting what he could have done if he had gone for gc.

The way he's owned the KOM this tour, he could have been mistaken for Virenque on that last climb today.

What a year for Sunweb. Two jerseys in the Tour and a top 10 plus four stage wins and they have stage wins and victory in the Giro. Great performance by Barguil in this race and Matthews has also done very well and a great team performance.

To balance all this well deserved awesomeness: Barguil can't TT well enough.

Then he needs to work on that!

Best climbing performance of the season so far. Chapeau, Warren! What a Tour it has been for him, very unexpected, at least for me after the broken wrist in Romandie.
He shall stay who he is now! Climbers must climb!
