At the age of 24 he was already a world champion and easily as good as a sprinter as Cavendish, other than being a great Classics specialists!

It goes to show how easilly someone can fall from the stars... hope he recovers!

A mentally fit Boonen aggainst a Cavendish would be a great show ( at least he would be a match or even more for him)

Sportslike, he showed some very impressive things this year (like winning Roubaix), so what happened to him is that he will have to take an other (forced) long vacation, but he still is one of the best classics specialist, if not the best (for the Flanders races).
His sprinting ofcourse, will become less and less good while aging...
