I like the background picture of cycling! Is it possible to make the colour of the forum area solid white all throughout, please? Some details get totally lost in the photograph.

What the hell is this Novo Nordisk background about? I was willing to give the new forum a shot, but it has been more than a week now and I think the number of posts (or should I say the lack of) speaks volumes about how most people think about it.

What a shame.

This! Having the background picture "peep through" the forum area makes it rather hard to read.

You know they are doing it to control the spammers yeah? See my post above.

In the old forum that was not necessary. What an improvement. And as i said, some threads are unusable with a limitation of urls.

It was set at its default which was 2, since we opened - when we were open for a few hours we got spammed hard most of it was just magic url links so we disabled urls until we could filter them out.

we never got round to increasing it to >2 until now - we can't do a post limit URL watcher as you highlighted I'm afraid its global.

also was not aware that this counted urls in quotes so will look at that

Sometimes we need to do more than simply post text and pictures.

The facility for csv tables would make for a much better presentation for those of us needing to present data such as score tables on the CQ games.

Are these impossible under this software? If not, could they please be enabled.

Anyone else having to login frequently? Despite clicking the checkbox to automatically log me in when I visit the forum I have to enter my info most of the time.

It's kind of there already...

Well you must have had to log in the first time at least no?

I did this from the one page...

This too.

If you click reply with quote, once you get to the full edit page scan down. Where the short version of the thread is you'll see each post has quote XXXX. Click that and it adds the quote to your post.

It's not perfect as clicking expand will only show about 10 or so posts, but it's easier than having multiple windows open.
