What if Wiggins was still with Garmin....

As it looks like Wiggins and SKY arent hitting their target of a top ten finish do you think it would have been different for him if he was still with Garmin.

VdV would still have come into the tour as the 'GC guy' for Garmin - presumably they would have been hoping for Wiggins to act as super-domestique and if he went well then maybe support him instead.

When VdV dropped out, would Ryder still have beasted it on the pave and suddenly got himself 'up there'...

Same result. Last year's course allowed for him to be in the mix. TTT, two decent ITTs and a lot of soft-pedaling the large climbs. The one really mountainous day he was shelled out the back when things got heated. This year was far more mountainous and you saw the result.

Well.. if we're playing what if... what if Wiggo was still with Garmin and VdV came into the Tour at 100% and didn't crash out? All speculation...
