I'm not understanding it either.. A perfect opportunity to start the season slowly, forgetting about the Spring classics and then focusing on the Vuelta. I hope he'll fall in love with the Giro as D_T said.

I;m not liking Gesink less but I'm just wondering if theres anything else besides the Tour he's thinking about .
