He also treats DB with disdain for his version of the DM incident, and his subsequent treatment of same rider. If you don't want to see that, because you like DB, then your'e the one wiht the 'preconceived' notions.

Digger due to nationalism I am a big Wiggo/GB/Brailsford fan - but I read that interview pretty much the same way you did. The interview seems to acknowledge the dilemma DB was in, sell a mate out or take the 100% pure path. Life just isnt that simple.

That interview was quite a turning point for me - before I was messianic about GB's purity. From that point on, I was just as 'would like to believe, but nothing surprises me in cycling' about GB as everyone else.
