Yes I have him as my number 2 all around rider right now, ahead of Remco and behind Pogi. Classics + stage racing he’s a beast. Unclear if he can reach Vingegaard in GTs, likely will never be on MvDPs level in cobbles, and surely will never TT like Remco, but he is a helluva all rounder.

All rounders:
  1. Pogi
  2. Del Toro
  3. Remco
  4. Seixas (pending further stage racing)

He and Seixas. Wonder how deep into a season riders this young can excel? The more mature guys will start getting serious, too.
Well maybe you can say that UAE is still a bit of a preparation race, allthough i think that a mature rider like Evenepoel was trying to be serious there.

But Strade Bianche and Tirreno are some of the most important races in the calender in this first block of the season so dont pretend that these youngsters only make an impression because the more experienced riders are not in shape yet.

Del Toro has started as a leader for UAE in two stage races and has won more WT stage races than some big names already. Two WT stage races in two attempts we take those.

Winners make winners, and hes learning from the best cyclist to ever live.

Not suggesting that about experienced riders and expect those two to do well. The bigger difference is when all the principal studs are at a race for real. If you've been hot early and young the depth of experience can be a big equalizer. Multiple teams treat you as a known quantity and treat you accordingly.

Most riders do yeah. Or do they live close together and train together?
It'd be called coaching. They communicate with staff and each other casually, I'm sure. Not like Tadeg is a Sphinx that shows up and tells everyone what to do. UAE races like they all have a plan and it usually works.
