Well maybe you can say that UAE is still a bit of a preparation race, allthough i think that a mature rider like Evenepoel was trying to be serious there. He and Seixas. Wonder how deep into a season riders this young can excel? The more mature guys will start getting serious, too.
Learning? In what way? They barely rode togetherWinners make winners, and hes learning from the best cyclist to ever live.
do they only ever see each other when they're in the same race?Learning? In what way? They barely rode together
Most riders do yeah. Or do they live close together and train together?do they only ever see each other when they're in the same race?
Not suggesting that about experienced riders and expect those two to do well. The bigger difference is when all the principal studs are at a race for real. If you've been hot early and young the depth of experience can be a big equalizer. Multiple teams treat you as a known quantity and treat you accordingly.Well maybe you can say that UAE is still a bit of a preparation race, allthough i think that a mature rider like Evenepoel was trying to be serious there.
But Strade Bianche and Tirreno are some of the most important races in the calender in this first block of the season so dont pretend that these youngsters only make an impression because the more experienced riders are not in shape yet.
It'd be called coaching. They communicate with staff and each other casually, I'm sure. Not like Tadeg is a Sphinx that shows up and tells everyone what to do. UAE races like they all have a plan and it usually works. Most riders do yeah. Or do they live close together and train together?
By racing together and being on training camps together. Some riders live next to each other. I heard Toro lives neighbours with Pellizzari and Tiberi and they train together when they are not with their teams.do they only ever see each other when they're in the same race?
Toro going to the Tour to primarily race for his own ambitions and that is also a way for UAE to assess his ability in the biggest race against the best riders. The idea is to within one or two seasons pass over the torch to Toro so UAE still maintain their grip on the Tour and Pogacar can freely bulk up to 100% focus on classics and monuments. This is how I see it.
Too early to tell. Toro is already at UAE older and ahead in development. If UAE signs Seixas, they'll have monopoly over all the grand tours in the coming couple years. They're trying to sign Seixas. If there's a UAE rider who would carry the torch it would be him.
