Utah was almost universally loved on this forum and I actually miss the race.
Apparently, Utah is the most Danish state in the USA. Does the universal love for Utah have anything to do with the amount of Danish people on this forum?

Because it was a bad race?
Is Danmark Rundt getting a new name? What about the Tour de Trump?
I'm a little confused about people saying Giro del Trentino/Tour of the Alps.
It still exists!

At all???The name changed but the race format didn't, at all,
Damn. They also expanded from four to five stages, I see.At all???
Where's the TTT?
My expectation was that Danes migrated to the same areas as Norwegians. But on reflection, it makes good sense that they went more to the south.Apparently, Utah is the most Danish state in the USA. Does the universal love for Utah have anything to do with the amount of Danish people on this forum?

I assume it's about non-hispanic whites. Yes, US race categories are weird. Not a single county where Spanish ancestry is the majority?
Baffling!

There's so much wrong with this post both from an etymological and linguistical point of view. The Welsh Arrow, translating to English rather than the more normal French.
Wales could do with an extra race.
Waalse and Welsh are basically the same word, though applied to different groups of non-Germanic foreigners. It's interesting where "that sounds like" and a bit of wondering can lead.
I would have thought that too. North Dakota is the state with highest percentage of Norwegians and Icelanders. Likewise you have Swedes and Finns in Minnesota, Germans and Poles in Wisconsin, Dutch in Michigan. All midwestern states bordering Canada. But according to this source Utah is the most Danish state.

The Danish word mormor (a maternal grandmother) is only a short vertical line away from the word Mormon, which may or may not have been the reason why some Danes settled in the state.
