Obvious Vino option is obvious.

Seriously though, it will depend entirely on the race situation and current state of GC.

As much as I would love it to see him destroy sky on stage 2 on their home road, he wouldn't want to be in yellow that early.

Stage 11 - right after a rest day ALA Vuelta 12

Vino option, of course.

Between the above? 17. Very short, no flat from 50km on, difficult yet no excruciating climbs, late in the race. It's almost made for such an attack.

Is a long-range attack where he goes out 15km from the top of the HC only to be caught by Froome within 1km of that attack? :D

I like this statement. People tend to forget that any attacks by AC against Froome tended to fail in recent times. Furthermore, I am not sure whether Froome would let AC away... he could choose to follow and sit on ACs wheel for the rest of the day.

cobbled stage - no. If he takes time there, it won't be because he launched an attack himself.

Mountain stages: not likely either. Too risky. TDF field is too strong for Fuente Dé tactics. It will only work if Froome has a really bad day - in which case it's still a much better option to have Tinkoff ride a brutal enough tempo and wait for the last climb of the day.

I don't believe Contador will do any long-range attack,he's form look good enough to be very close to Froome or above him in GC,so no point in doing something like this.

Yes me too hopefully see you there! :)

It has the potential to be a great stage and GC riders will have to be very wary. It may play into the hands of the others.

That's fantastic! Will see you there! Will have a Garmin hat on!

I'm very interested in stage 2. Is it a sagans stage or, as procycling mag seem to indicate, possibly hard enough for gc contenders. Could Froome or contador leave England in yellow?

I would say that the gc contenders will play it safe and gerro or sagan, or some punchuer will win.

No long attack(s), not possible anymore.

Hi Dave :D:D

I hope Tinkoff to be a bit stronger than sky to eliminate everyone except Richie+Snow by half of the stage, then its possible for AC to attack epic way.
