mmm interesting. I would love to see RVV.

Or alternatively TDF starts in Belgium too. All you Northern European Barbarians wouldnt have too much trouble getting there and its during the off season so could work.

great stuff boomcie, Scott Socal is the real winner of the race tho :p

Well, it's difficult to get more undressed than that?

Meaning you ain't gonna see it IRL! Also I was still wearing my classes... otherwise I would've gotten lost on the podium!

I presume the winner Cobblestoned got kissed on both cheeks by 2 naked ladies and with me coming position 4 missing out.

Wow. Speechless.
Still searching for words after that exciting race.

boomcies races spread fear and everyone who finished the race, is a winner.

Those podium shots are godlike. You should consider freeing your mind and becoming an artist. :D

After 40 kilometers a new break was formed consisting of several riders no one has ever heard of: ramjambunath, antares1, Midnite, dirkprovin and The other McHoy.

How quickly things change...

Amused me when I saw it :)

0-100 posts are always the slowest.;)

Around 800 of my posts must be on this sub-forum, I'm sure most exclusively 'professional road race' forummers will still not know me.

Their loss.

Currently, there's not much to say in the professional sub-forum anyway. Many pointless polls and even more pointless discussions about Thomas Dekker's return to cycling.

That actually sounds like fun, it's time to get myself involved!

When you get threads on people like Armstrong, Landis, Contador (in the Clinic), and it seems Thomas Dekker, I just know to stay away.

***CT TOUR PRESS CONFERENCE HELD TODAY***

In a surprise press conference today, major announcements were made by Race organiser Timothy the Great in regards to the future of this prestigious race.

While the race was orginially planned for an epic 21 stages, unfortunately overnight whispers have reported that TLR has been aftected by the dreaded lazyitus syndrome. As a result the race organisers have announced the Tour of CN will only be 11 stages long. "I believe this race can still be great, and will pave the way for great editions in future seasons. But for now, this beautiful race will only have 6 more race days."

However not all news was bad, with such a dramatic change, obviously changes for the remaining race and the route was also required. And thus an outline of the remaining stages had been released by the heroric Timothy the Great.

------ Preview of Race to come

Stage 6: Monte CQ Ranking
Type: Mountainious
Description: this stage will see the riders end on the most dreaded and feared climb in the games and fantasy region. This will be hell.

Stage 7: CQ Ranking region to Caption This
Type: Small mountains
Description: This stage will see the riders exit the games and fantasy region and effively enter the general region. The only stage which in this beautiful area. WHile start of the stage will see some mountains, the stage should end in a reduced bunch.

Stage 8: Transfer and Rumors ITT
Type: Individual Time Trial
Description: Overnight the riders will transfer to the heartland of the CN; the professional road racing region. The riders will tackle this TT in the town of Transfers and Rumors.

Stage 9: Greenedge thread to isgesinksoft
Type: Hilly stage.
Descritpion: This stage will see a hilly, difficult stage which could favor a number of riders, even the sprinters could have an outside chance.

Stage 10: isgesinksoft to Alpe' de officiale Lance Armstrong Thread
Type: Mountainious
Descritpion: This is the Queen stage, this is where the race will finally be settled. While the Monte CQ Ranking may be the hardest climb of this year's race (not necessarily of CN), this stage will be insanely hard from the get go. 5 categorized climbs. Big Climbs.

Stage 11: Lance Armstrong thread to General News Thread
Type: Hilly-ish / flat
Descritpion: The final stage. WHile nothing is too hard on this stage, the final 50km will be tense and with little tough hills present and a techinal run in to the general news finish, slight differences could be made here if the bold are willing to try. Minor cobble sections also present in the stage.

The Good:
The inclusion of the Monte CQ ranking and stage 10 will be epic.
The Bad: The exclusion of the cafe and in particular the clinic region. No doubt a region which will be utilized in future editions.
The Ugly: Libertine after the Monte CQ Ranking.

----------------

Timothy the Great ended the press conference with the announcement that Brodeal has been allowed to continue in the race, a very fortunate decision considering the clone situation.

Let the Race continue.
**Next stage expected next week, hoping to conclude race prior to TDU

Riders comments regarding the Press conference:
Craig: LOL! Good luck @ libertine getting past stage 10. Ciao!
Parullo: [Race Leader] I think this is good, I believe I can hold onto the win.
Libertine: I have contacted moondance, I believe TLR will awake to a horse head tomorrow.
Bicing: BS!! I lost time purposely to get in breaks and still the title from beneath these chumps. This change in program screws everything up.
Durainrider: I make love to vegetables.

On the plus side: I could be relatively safe in the points jersey if I can make it to the sprint on the General News Thread.

On the minus side: I might have to grab on to cars, bikes, helicopters, hovercraft, light aircraft, bribe, cheat, hack into the timing computers, take shortcuts, employ doppelgängers to ride while I enjoy a rest in the team car, and forge compromising photographs of Timothy The Great in order to make it there.

i must be from the group that stick to the alternative discussions where ramjambunath, Krebs and craig1985 seem to be the most common posters.

i do not have the resilience of some of the posters in the racing forums. i am interested in the first 20 posts on a topic but have long given up when they reach point 230.
