It was a good few weeks for those who voted for remco. Lipovitz and pellizzari continue to remain in the picture.

On the other hand, a very bad April for the roglic voters. Fortunately for them, van dijke also failed to deliver in the big classics, and even tried cheating to hide this by swapping numbers with his brother. Not how a true leader behaves!

I believe more and more their project is a fiasco when we look to stage racing.
Their only hope is the Vuelta where the startlist will be awful.

A fiasco? They are on the podium of every big stage race... Or did we suddenly expect Pellizzari and Lipowitz to beat the likes of Vingegaard? Didn't see anyone saying that.

If you get Evenepoel for 6M a year and a buy out clause and the main target of the sprint is Catalunya (4th or whatever and why Catalunya) and Liege (3rd after getting completely stomped on La Redoute and finishing almost 2 minutes down) then it doesn't bode well.

For real, the biggest part of Evenepoels' sales pitch was still that he's a future TdF winner, now he's getting destroyed by a kid 7 years younger in one of his favorite races.

Yeah, looking to Remco's performances, it's fair to say he never was so far from Pogacar's level. It's really obvious he hit his ceilling way before Pogacar.

Regarding Roglic, he is far from his best self. Probably gonna hope the startlist in the Vuelta is weak to have a chance of winning it. But chances are very small, he doesn't have a weapon anymore.

Lipo is not a winner, too many limitations. He has a very good diesel motor for the high mountains but that's it.

They will get good results but important wins will be very difficult. In fact, I believe AGR will be the only important win this season.

Honestly, I don’t think anyone on this team deserves 100% leadership. None of them have shown they can be in contention for a major victory. None can hang with Pogacar, Seixas, Vingegaard, MVDP, Wout races that suit their respective strengths (all, in Pogacar’s case).

Roglic in the Vuelta is the best bet, the Pellizzari in the Giro, though he has no shot of beating Vingegaard. The debate about who is domming for whom in the Tour is just silly. Remco for green and stages as someone suggested is the best bet honestly. I’d send Roglic if he wants to go and not stress about the leadership hierarchy because they will all be duking it out two minutes behind the leaders on major climbs anyways.

It's not even the gap to Pogacar that's the issue. It's that now a much younger rider has passed him by in the blink of an eye.

Honestly the only big positive for him this season is getting 3rd in RVV.

If Vuelta misses top dogs (like Pogi, Vingo and Seixas) then Rogla could be their best chance to win one of the big races.
