Lipowitz and Pelizzari are the only real answer here. Riders like Hindley and Roglic can pick their spots, but aren't really reliable no more, but Pelizzari and Lipowitz are young, are very consistent, both made for GT's and still have room to grow.

And the little Belgian?

I don’t think there is one clear leader, unless you have Pogacar, who can basically win anything, anytime, anywhere. Most other riders have their specialties but aren’t as versatile. Or they’re consistent, but not the kind of phenomenon Pogacar is.

Lipowitz is a very consistent GC rider — the harder and longer the race, the better he gets. Whenever he reaches the finish, he delivers top results, and he has learned to manage his health issues really well. But he’s unfortunately not a rider who wins a lot. Still, when it comes to podium potential, he’s currently the number one in the team.

Pellizzari might soon overtake him in that regard. He’s the team’s shooting star and has a bit more charisma, which is always helpful for a leader who’s in the spotlight. And unlike Lipo, he can win stages.

Evenepoel is of course naturally suited to being a leader. His personality fits that role, and he’s a real winner. But I see him more at one‑day races or time trials than at long, difficult Grand Tours.

Roglic is tricky. He used to be a fantastic rider who could win stages and one‑day races. But he seems to be far from that level now.

So at RBH there simply isn’t the one leader. In terms of rider type and current success, it’s certainly Remco. Lipo for the Tour, and Giulio in the future — and at the moment for selected races.

So we are back to Finn and he came close today. Tomorrow is another opportunity and lets see if some new clues emerge.

Exactly, since we both know if Rogla was the leader he’d have won via STOMP.

Some day, when the team will be good enough. Currently they are still building up but stage one was promising.

You keep saying Finn, but that’s very confusing since they have an actual rider named Finn not here and you mean Finn Fisher Black. You can abbreviate it as FFB.

What's a true leader? When the leader is present, the whole team rides for the leader. Like Jonas and Pogi.

Lipo is their true leader, I guess.

Fantastic Romandie showing: three top 10s on stage one; 2nd; 3rd; 2nd; 2nd. The strategy of 'have as many of the sub elite riders as possible' is paying off in UCI points

If they are really trying to maximize UCI points that's too sad. The team is strong enough that relegation is nearly impossible. How to win should be their only focus. They don't need any mental energy spent of points farming.

And Lipowitz isn't even one of the overhyped also rans they signed for big money, he's their own youth product

The Lipowitz-Pellizzari axis is the key to success for Bora!
Lipowitz and Pellizzari for GC, awaiting Finn too.

Evenepoel can lead the classics team in every race from Strade Bianche to Amstel, and then a super domestique/green jersey role in the Tour. Sort of like a Van Aert regen.

Liege is a tricky one, but maybe if Finn develops well they can take a two pronged approach which the DSs seam to love. Finn follows up front, shaking his head and saying 'I have Remco behind who will win the sprint'. Meanwhile, Evenepoel is shaking his head and saying 'I have Finn up front'.

Do you believe it will be even more confusing, when two Finn RBH riders are in the same race, compared to establishing who the true leader is?

lol at Remco being Van Aert 2.0. He'd be top 5ing the race while winning green, if he decides to go for green and likely polka dots

let's not forget that remco has won 4 MTFs in GT. He's not Tony Martin, like some here think

Yes and Van Aert won up Mont Ventoux and came 3rd up Hautacam.
