Menchov is double evil because he's practically Navarrese!Ferminal said:Uhh, Menchov was supposedly a client of Humanplasma and Sanchez is one of those evil Spaniards.
The Hitch said:sanchez is 33 and never won a gt. He didnt do well until recently. That might mean something to those who say that this is a cleaner era. Some say that horner lost out because he wasnt doping and is doing well now because there is less so you might say the same about sanchez.
Benotti69 said:Menchov is Rabobank, how clean can they be when Rasmussen rode for them and he thought doping was ok unless you went over the 50% hemaocrit ...
Menchov beat a very motivated Danilo Di Luca in the 09 Gd'Italia, who was on cera. Di Luca was using the L'Aquila earthquake(06/04/09) as his reason to win it that year.

Tour 6th > 3rd or 4th
Vuelta 15th > 10th> 7th > 3rd > 2nd
No massive jumps in improvement, just consistently getting better over time.
centri said:So what qualifies a Spanish person/rider to be evil?
I think he's always been good at climbing hills.craig1985 said:I think blackcat said that Samu Sanchez couldn't climb a lick until Igor González de Galdeano took over. But I like Samu more then Menchov, so I will cheer for Samu.
The Hitch said:did he say something like this as an excuse for the doping?
