I'd probably agree with that. Maybe Vino could challenge him, in termes of excelling at such a variety of formats - but I think Valverde is more consistent.

I suppose the latter would be "most complete". "most talented" is hugely subjective and pretty worthless.

I'm sure you're right, but PFP's current jersey collection:

National Cyclo-cross Champion
National Time Trial champion
National Road Race champion
National MTB champion
U23 European XC Champion

Whereas Marianne usually has "only" one national jersey to go with her one or two rainbow jerseys. Eg she has been national RR and TT champion in the same year only once (2011).
