Which riders will reach 100 pro wins by their end of their career?

what would the tipping point be for the number of wins he gets this year to convince you he has just above 50 % chance to make it ?

for me , i think about 10
I think even more. I’m not sure he’s the type that keeps going until 38 farming small French races. Wouldn’t be surprised he quits at a high. So if he does 10 this year he has 76 and he’s 34.

I think he needs at least 4 more this year and reach 80. Which seems very difficult after this spring.

yeah, it could be very difficult with Merlier. To have a shot he must have the almost perfect season this year. Limited sickness, limited crashes, no knee problems and a very high win rate. Anyway its good to see him back in action.

if he had 6 fewer wins before this year and then had no injury and this was his 7th win of the season , would you also say that he needed a 20 wins season this year ?

Probably not. But then he’s already in a decent flow, now it still seems like a much bigger uphill battle
