Uran has to be a decent outside bet with such a long time trial. If Contador has any kind of form though then he should win easily (especially if Nibali, Froome and Quintana don't ride).

Particularly as Sky will probably weigh the team they send more towards Viviani (assuming he signs) as they did with Cav in 2012.

Martinelli has pretty much confirmed Aru will be Astana's leader for the Giro and Nibali will only ride the Tour. He might still change plans though.

RCS expects Nibali to compete, and Nibali hasn't said anything as to his final decision on which to target. So until he does I wait and hope.

And seeing as the man himself hasn't said anything, he should be included in the poll. Contador is the only rider that can be considered a bigger contender for the win.

Tour will have most likely same if not more TT kms. Plus he went to OPQS where he could could lead at the Tour, his dream.

And even better for him this year since big names seemingly attempting the Giro Tour double.

I think he'll go to the Giro. Even with Contador there I think the competition will be less and he knows he'll be able to have a higher placing there than at the Tour. He has more support at the Giro - At the Tour he would have to share the team with Cavendish.

Well, Contador will win it for sure if he is going to participate.

Aru and Uran are good podium contenders. Pozzo and Purito as well.

Peraud said that he would like to target the Giro, so I think he could be a candidate if Pozzovivo is going somewhere else than Ag2r (Lampre?). Then it's all for Bardet at the Tour.

I don't think Valverde will ever do the Giro though.

I don't think Porte will be there, but maybe the older Heano is hungry for some racing. He could co-lead with König.

I'll go with a podium of Contador, Aru, Rolland. I doubt Uran will ride the Giro, even with the ITT, the likely TDF route/ Contador and maybe others doing the giro gives him a great chance for the podium.
