You're getting it quick.
Inability to deal with sarcasm is a good start.

auscyclefan94 said:100% of british riders DNF
33% of Australian riders DNF with a 3rd place
Maybe we should look at the medal tally?
Anyway, why didn't Britain qualitfy more riders?

I have it at 3-2 AUS for the road events. Hardly a whitewash.auscyclefan94 said:100% of british riders DNF

The Hitch said:It wasnt just that Australia are better in road race,(which atm they are). Remember Australia was rewarded with places, for its great Giro with the 3 jerseys and few stage wins, but Britain was not rewarded for its good Vuelta with 3 stage wins and a green jersey.
Nick777 said:Is Cav British? Or is he like most of the English Cricket team - eg born in Zimbabwe/South Africa/West Indies/India, but has a great great great grandfather who once stayed in a B&B in Essex somewhere?
As a side note, how the hell did Baden Cooke get a ride yesterday?
He hasn't done a lot lately.
TeamSkyFans said:I think what you should remember ACF is that 3 riders will have to do a lot more work than 9 riders, therefore the 3 will tire more quickly.
By that argument the three british riders did loads of work then retired, the aussies with 9 riders to share the workload barely had anything to do, so 3 of them retiring shows just how bad they are.
So therefore GB are better than australia.

auscyclefan94 said:Martin318is, I think these champs do prove the strength of aus cycling against british cycling. If Brits did stuff all and Aus were omnipresent then that does mean Australia are a better cycling nation. You can not say they did stuff all and also say that they are not worse than a country that did lots!
