Nope, missed the replay on Rai Sports 2 today. Still impressed with Wiggo riding everyone off his wheel yesterday and then just coasting at 3k to go, surely he could have kept at it had he needed/wanted to!

Was quite impressed yesterday and he has continued his form from PR. As long as his head stays with it during the summer he will be a good help to Froome.

Its a shame wiggins is at at sky, i think on another team or sky without froome, he could really push for a top 3 at the tour. I think hes still a elite stage racer but seems he does not care as much now.

Exactly what I was thinking the other day...I don't think Sky handled this very well, the situation was quite similar in 1996 and 1997 at Telekom with Riis and Ullrich and there was a "smoother" transition with Riis starting the 1997 tour as the official leader until he couldn't keep up.

Thats the problem. No matter what team is was on wouldnt counter his obvious drop in motivation after winning le tour.

Some signs of life. Finished 11th today, 1:04 down on the winner.

Lose a bit more weight and he'll probably be competitive in California.

On what we've seen in the last couple of weeks he will definitely be in the Tour team and will be a good man to have in the mountains. With Porte, Nieve and Wiggins Sky have a very strong team to support Froome.

If Thomas can stay on his bike (big if) then I'm pretty sure you'll see him leading the train in the mountains with not too many left for company.

Maybe they should get his bike a set of training wheels. Are there any UCI rules against this? :D

I'd love to see him go well at the Tour. Must admit that I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Wiggins, even if the PR hype this year was getting a bit over the top.

It's kinda cool to have a rider finish in the group sprinting for 2nd in Roubaix and then 11th on a HC MTF 2 weeks later even if it was just Trentino.

if he can't be competitive or even win it against a second tier of climbers and continental team climbers, then forget about him being a super domestique at TDF. :D

Why should he be a super domestique to Froome and his biitch Porte, he deserves and needs a leadership role, or at least some free plan b role.

Hopefully he goes in as a super dom but finds real form and it becomes a Sky polemic :) It would add some spice to the proceedings!

Yes, thats the way it should have been last year (as it was in 1986 and 1997)...the other way around, instead of the ridiculous "drama" that came out of DB's indecision and incredible (and understandably hurtful for Wiggo) lack of support for the reigning TDF champ.

Had to look up what polemic means , yes, totally agree!

I'm guessing Bradley lacks true belief in himself and is hindered by insecurities, so needs good performances and good mentoring to keep topping up his confidence and being sidelined to Froome has probably affected this badly.

Did he really want to ride the Giro 2013 instead of the Tour, or was it because he was told Froome was leading TdF 2013 and he was being demoted?

First real GC stage is cobbles, so there's opportunity there for a narrative, even if it won't happen.

Wiggins given protected rider status in case Froome crashes.
