The article also said he paid over a million pound in taxes last year. If he's avoiding paying tax then he isn't doing a very good job!

I loathe it when people are beaten up for avoiding tax. Always by people who can't be arsed to even bother to work, arguing that people who do should be loyal. F*** loyalty. I'm loyal to my friends and family, not to the government and some random, beer-drinking strangers.

Bone idle ****ers, all of them :p

End of rant.

None, what he's doing isn't illegal. Merely frowned upon in these times of austerity.

"It's not illegal just frowned upon...like masterbating on an airplane."

Great interview and banter between Wiggo and Cav on the Eurosport TDF presentation interviews. Worth a look if you havent watched it.

Wiggo said he is targeting the Giro but will be taking part in the TDF so will surely be there as a Froome domestique.

Smart move by Wiggins to go for the Giro next year.
I just hope that he will face at least some serious contenders there.
Seeing him trashing thelikes of Scarpon would be rather dull.
So hopefully at least Nibali will be there.

I am absolutely gutted. Was praying that Wiggins would go to the Tour especially since all of Britain thinks he is a shoe in for at least the next 2 or 3 years. Watching the media explain it was going to be the one thrill i got out of him getting it all last year :(

Because Nibali is better than Scarponi?

Nibbles, I am counting on you. Take Wiggo down, its your home country, you have the advantage. Make him cry. ;)

And hope Uran and Henao leave Sky after next year. The vuelta's a fine race to target but they will get more leadership chances at a different team. And would have their pick of GT's depending on the team.

Smart move to go for the Giro and take the TDF as it comes...why not go for double if circumstances permit, ha, ha, some numbnuts here would go totally berzerk, it would be priceless.

Froome is absolutely getting smashed politically. Wiggo is being hailed as major hero here now for generously giving Froome a TDF out of the goodness of his heart.

I'd like to see Uran and Henao being allowed to target the Vuelta next year, the signings of Kiryienka, JTL and Cataldo will hopefully allow them to go their fresh. Still not sure why you think they are better GT contenders than Wiggins or Froome though.

Not being humble, and being Kenyan do not help at all. Wiggins to be canonize in the near future though.

I think most of the British cycling public who have loved cycling for more than the last 6 months will know that Froome is the best chance in the TDF next year and BW had his chance this year and took it. Wiggo will do well at the Giro IMO.

I would send the Uran/Henao to the Giro as brad's domestiques (spring classics too) then give them a break before they go for the Vuelta.

Good, those guys need experience. It'll be an upgrade for them after last year's Giro. :(

Will be interesting to see how Sky split up the domestiques next year, will Froome get a load of knackered riders from the Giro?

Sky has Dombrowski, Cataldo, Kiryienka, Rodgers, Henao, Porte, Sivtsov and Uran(8!!!) as climbing domestiques so surely they shouldn't need any of them riding both? They're just as stacked on the flats plus they won't have to worry about Cav. Sky's depth is almost sickening. Plus Wiggins very well might ride in support of Froome at the Tour as well.
