Does a pro conti team without GT ambitions need to dope? If your biggest races are 1 week tours and classics then I wouldn't be too quick to condemn the smaller, less ambitious ones.

If he tt's like last year (which is still better than he naturally should) Clentadoppucci should never again contend in GC for a major tour (as Andreu correctly pointed out. The only way a rider like Clentadoppucci can hope to contend in gc is if they abolish all flattish tts (something they have honestly come close to doing).
