winter/cross/gravel/commuter - hydraulic discs AND fender mounts

Does such a bike exist? The major manufacturers all seem to lose the fender mounts once the bikes get far enough up the range to score hydraulic discs.

I'm not a fan of discs on summer bikes at all, but this will be used as a rainy winter bike in Vancouver so I do think it worthwhile. I want hydraulic, but SRAM makes me want to puke my guts up, sir - so only Shimano.

Any suggestions?

Winkybiker - check out this thread that you contributed to: http://forum.cyclingnews.com/showthread.php?t=22153

Surly, Kona, Salsa, etc all have disc brake and fender options for their all purpose bikes (commuter, 'cross, gravel, etc). I ended up buying the Salsa Vaya. I enjoy commuting on the Salsa, but definitely notice the increased weight compared to my 'cross bike (Stevens Team Ultegra). I have used my 'cross bike for lightweight touring and occasional commuting pre-Salsa days (but no disc or fender mounts).

And then build to spec and yes, stay away from SPam.

Also the Kona Rove.

But as said, go check out Mighty Riders, talk to big Ed and see what he says.

While there go next door to On the Rivet.
