she probably loves it.

if you google her name she has a ton of sites in which she offers mentoring and/or her e-book for download. they're selling their way of life to make money, with pictures galore of her (parading around).

nothing wrong with that, mind you... but it is a little disingenuous to post it in this thread and on this forum, imo. (preying on woman with low body esteem?) nor does it really have anything to do with thinner thighs from cycling.

I bought her Tantra book. amazing stuff.

Has it occurred to either of you that there is such a thing as too thin? Why is thin, thin, thin your overriding definition of "healthy"? What is too thin by your definition? Surely there must a limit at some point, no?

I find your "GF" to be ridiculously underweight, and completely unattractive as a result. :)

Huh? Thin is healthy because there is no point in carrying around extra fat. Neither Dorian or Freelee are "too thin" as they are quite athletic and strong.

I know for a fact that people can look as good as they do and feel great without going to the extreems in diet that they do, but I certainly wouldn't argue that they look unattractive or are too thin. Anyone who thinks they are is probably just looking to consider their own fat body or that of their spouse "normal".

I get why the feel great - sugar is a powerful drug! I think they should stress that eating the whole fruit (so you get the fiber) is important so people don't just juice everything and not get the fiber that'll help buffer all that fructose load on the liver. And personally I started to feel better and recover better and have fewer workout pains when I added protein to my diet. But they look great, perform well in sports so they are clearly strong enough, and report that they feel great so it is clearly working well for them.

LOL. I made the mistake of clicking on his "review" of a bamboo bicycle. The review was about two paragraphs. 70% of it was about him and how he is not known for following the herd.

Like I always say 'take advice from those getting the results you desire'.

Freelee says 'why do you waste your time talking with people that are full of excuses?' I say 'I used to be close minded like them too and one day someone cared enough to get me up to speed..'

If anyone wants to see before and after pics of Freelee then check out her blog. You'd be hard pressed to find better info on getting a trim female body and for FREE lol!

In a world of quick fix fad gimmicks, we are being the change we want to see in the industry.

Also...

Do not ride in wind.

Do not ride in bad weather. That is how hardmen are built.

Try to ride as little as possible.

Avoid wearing blue or black. Those are manly colors that build muscle.

Eat tofu and quiche. Avoid red meat and beer.

Do not under any circumstances watch the Three Stooges. Films starring actors with first names like Clint and Arnold should also be avoided.

Try driving a VW Beetle or a Mazda Miata. Avoid any vehicle with more than 250 horse power. There is an exception for Hummers since women are immune to the johnson shrinking side effects of Hummers.

LMFAO !!!! Im almost crying :D

Back on topic, here is a pic of the legs of Jeannie Longo. I know she doesn't avoid riding hills.

I have also seen pics of female track cyclists with what appear to be huge, muscular thighs (Anna mears as an example).

Not sure what conclusions should be drawn from all this, but Longo's legs are not all that big, but she sure can climb hills on a bike.

Yeah i know mew, but i live in country where gays, vegans, blacks, and non-catholics are so rare creatures, so it is kind of interesting for me. I am sort of redneck.
As for saga thread going on, i would sugest running-lot of running, but it is hard, so Oprah might help. I heard she will be next president.
