They are behind for a reason... they were all cooked

It's 85km... You're cycling in a group with 5 Italians, 4 Australians, some belgians etc... Even if you were cooked, which yes they were, you can still catch the front. In fact they are getting a bit closer as we speak, so maybe, just maybe, they have a different strategy today.

Seems realistic.
Very realistic.. Del Toro knows what his relationship with Pogacar represents. They way they are working together is excellent.
Yeah in the future he needs to leave UAE, for sure.
No chance
If Del Toro does even something close to 50/50 that would be stupid
he is has been communicating all week with Tadej, he will do what he can and Pogacar knows how valuable Del Toro can be to build this gap.. And you see behind.. Remco doing lion's share, Ayuso half cracked and a big cluster fck of a chase..big motor is Ben Healy? Come on.
Del Toro needs to do what he can 50\50.. 50% survive..50% build the gap for Tadej..
Big lesson for today is that Isaac learned from Giro jitters, will not F up from being nervous, Del Toro might F up..he might crack but he is going to do it with purpose.
This is a long way out with 84 to go, but Tadej and Isaac have to have learned from earlier races, course is so tough that chase motivation is lacking.. All elite women's comments said something like that..

The chasing group is strong. Pogacar and Del Toro proved to be very strong but wasnt an attack 104 km from the line too early? Will Pog pay the price? He pulled it off last year but still it was risky and not the best tactics.
