Evenepoel looking absolutely inconsolable, much prefer that to the back slapping and hugging to be honest.
I think he knows he could have really contested this. I mean with the dropping on the climb and then two bike changes he still overcame everyone else.

Some bizarre stuff and I don't know if the main failure was climbing legs, mechanicals or poor decisions.

I don't see any scenario in which he beats Pogačar today, mechanicals or not.

Congratx to Teddy on defending his title, what an epic ride! Attack 104 km from the line and solo for 66 km, similarly to last year ( Del toro instead of Sivakov as assistance).

Also congrats to Evenepoel on his great performance. After problems with the longest climb and with his bike he did a very strong chase and easily beat the rest.

And Healy, well done the bronze is his.
