Now if you are Huber, stick to his wheel the rest of the race. But surely he won’t do it already 30km out.

Widar told Sporza he was ready for it but had some really bad nights because of stress. The mental part is also important.

In this field at least, Finn looks like a new Pogacar. It's ridiculous that Seixas, Nordhagen et al. weren't allowed to race though, and for instance Söderqvist was.

Finn wanting to "pull a Mohoric", and follow his win in the Junior RR with a win in the U23 RR?

Of course, I guess to really "pulla Mohoric", he'd have to do a super-tuck, and that's not allowed.

It's a shame Widar was injured else that would have been a good battle, but yeah Finn is way ahead of the rest at the moment.

I'd also add Philipsen to that list. Given that this is functionally an U21 race and devo teams are accelerating the process, I don't see the reason in not making this an U21 race (i.e. 2004 and younger) and letting pros in.

Then you might as well add Brennan. I don't think Philipsen or Brennan would have featured though, way too hard.

But the rule is ridiculous. Söderqvist has done maybe one or two U23 races, the rest of them all with the elites, but because technically he's still on the development squad he's allowed to start. Whereas Nordhagen and Philipsen have actually done some proper racing with the U23s... but they're on the pro team, so byebye.
