PCS algorithm is including Rodrigo Contreras in the race stats for the U23s

Which competitors have done the most career race kilometres?

Good luck in the race Rodrigo, he's 19 I swear, he just did his paper round in Chernobyl.

These circuits are far more suited to the UK cohort of men, compared to the women.

For the women's junior race they had added Estela Domínguez to the start list for some reason. While they both wouldn't be eligible, Contreras is at least still alive.

Noval's been ruined by INEOS even before he's joined them.
Noval is very strong, but he doesn't know how to race in many ways. He has a lot to learn.
That doesn't surprise ; this isn't the first race where, despite being the strongest, he doesn't know how to manage it and makes mistakes.

He's young; he'll learn.

It seemed to me that he did this race very well apart from his crash.

That's obviously a mistake but also a bit easy to scold him for... Did we ever see the crash, by the way?

I'm not scolding him, I'm just saying it's common for him. It's not the INEOS effect

But he's young and he'll learn.

Feel for Tim Rex a bit, someone has decided that he has really good 'keep break in check' skills and he's tall/good draft so inevitably he's going to get stuck on the front for the next 10 years. Anyway, maybe he enjoys it.

With how Belgium is taking charge of the race, all the hype in Belgian media, and Widar himself doing a whole U23 season for this, it's going to be awkward if Widar doesn't win it.
