Belgium want to control too eagerly. They'll kill themselves chasing everything and the race could be more tactical which doesn't necessarily favour Widar. (edit: there is the espoir tractor Rex again)

They want it too much, plenty of great riders capable of winning here but riding like he's three levels above.

I think Belgium is fine. More than enough riders, and Widar wants to finish solo, so they only need to control it for 2-3 more rounds

Dockx about to be the last guy for Widar, that's not what the plan was. Schoofs is struggling and Eeman moved up to an earlier position.

I wonder how long Loulergue can survive, he's damn fast. France has an underrated team here with L'Hote and Decomble also
