Apparently the protesters glued themselves to the road.
Now I almost wish they'd show a picture - with the slogan blurred out, of course - just so we'd have pictures of some idiots being stuck to the road.

If they could just get the riders and cars around the protestors and leave them glued to the road. Wonder how long time that glue would work

They are out of stock, an old guy from Moorslede bought all the available production and rumours say that during this team racing break, he is busy filling his Vuelta team bus with this glue to catch some riders and make sure they don't ever leave.

Interrupting a bike race in the name of protesting oil seems slightly redundant. In terms of optics definitely.

F1 at Silverstone is one thing, but a bike race... is just wtf considering the push towards promoting bicycles as a clean energy alternative method of transportation anyway.
