The combativity award is for Mayrhofer. Following Remco's wheel that long is proof of tremendous will power.
Because the guy that closed 2+ minutes on his own after a crash, just to drop everyone later on, doesn't count because he's "Evenepoel"?
I was kidding.

The world champion doesn't need a combativity prize.

I didn't realize that there is a 2nd climb in this lap albeit a very short one. Anyway, great to see the already pretty big crowds and the imo beautiful Parcours through Innsbruck. This is really shaping up to be a great WC

You mean the one about 3 km from the finish? You would have if you'd watched the women's junior race ;)

Sorry, bit stressed, lol. And i could understand people reaching the same conclusion, if you dismiss Evenepoel, because "Evenepoel". :)

I watched the women's junior race but I though they only included it in the last lap instead of the höttinger höll which is used in the final lap of the men's elite race. As that race only had one lap I didn't realize it will be used in every lap

What do we know about Mayrhofer?

One of the best juniors of the year behind Evenepoel, Vacek and the italians. Has a handy sprint on him and can survive the hills. I thought this parcours was too hard for him. He'll go to Sunweb Devo next year.
