When you are three strong, the most logical thing is to work together in the first place to eliminate the rest for a podium spot. So it would only be logical that the other two worked together. They seem to be able to respond his attack, then they should also be able to take turns. Which they don't, which in turn is the reason he keeps attacking.

The Danish commentators say the same. I just don't understand this. Ride for the possibility of gold - especially now that the medal is secure.

And he seems to collaborate well enough, but they aren't making any inroads.

They never had any chance of catching Hirschi. And a silver is definitely better than bronze. Additionally the chance of being caught from behind was slim
