Feel bad for the other Dutch girls though, can't help but feel like they could have made another clean sweep if they wanted to. I think they wanted to prove too hard that they were acting as a team. With VDB 3 minutes loose, they could have raced for second or third. Probably would have, had there been radio communication

Well done Anna! What an exhibition :)
Remco one the other hand was 'not normal' and you would be 'taking it to the clinic'...? Double standards
Not double standards but favoritism. I haven't got any illusions about Van der
Breggen.
I don't think it's weird we react to two similar performances in a different way, based on the actual performer. You're much more likely to enjoy an "unbelievable" performance by a rider you're actually a fan of, than by one you don't really like. And while I won't say I don't like Evenepoel, I try to keep an open mind, I must admit the incessant hyping by some forum members and some of his behavior that could be interpreted as arrogant have made me a little biased.
By the way about Evenepoel I never said I'd "take it to the clinic", that was someone else. I did say it was "not normal", and I'd describe Anna's ride the same way. It was extraordinary.

I don't think I could put it much better

I just think its very bad mannered to say such stuff after x rider wins and react completely different when y rider wins when it comes to clinic stuff. Obviously we have our favourites and all, but it doesn't come across as a very likeable trait..

Can't believe my eyes. Dutch forum members having a problem with hyping certain riders

As long as they're not Dutch I presume
I think you'll find I usually cheer for riders of other nationalities and I'm definitely not one that "hypes" Dutch riders. I tend to stay away from chauvinism.

Yes, I'm bad mannered. Such a bad, unlikeable person, you've let me know plenty times before. I'm sure you're perfect.

The point is, does it bother you when it concerns Dutch riders?

When what concerns Dutch riders?

So according to Pöstlberger you'll need 20 seconds over the last climb to be sure to stay away. 10-15 seconds could do the trick but would not be impossible to bridge.
So will the explosive climbers (Valv,Yateses,Alaphilippe,Martin etc.) be able to open such a gap on the Höll?
