From the tax plan that's not just proposed but is actually in force today and set to expire at the end of this year.

We'll see what the numbers look like when the budget gets ratified if that's ok with you.

No, you got the numbers from an article that has already been removed because it was wrong.

I guarantee you nobody under 250,000 per is going to see a tax increase. If i'm not mistaken there hasn't been an increase in that bracket since before Bill Clinton was president. It would make no sense to do so now.

Republicans try to buy elections over and over again with tax cuts and then leave the financial mess around for Democrats to clean up.

It happened again with Bush.

You complain about the deficit but are only happy if doing something about it cuts someones food stamps or social security or medicaide.

If you make greater than $250k or 200k depending on your status, you better start working 168 hours per week, because you are gonna have to bust hump to make up the deficits for the next 10 years.

Ain't class warfare grand? Betcha we end up with a lot less people making less than 200-250k/year. Funny thing about earners, they know how to game the system like any rational person would, but it just makes libs hate them all the more.

We will have to nationalize the means of production. That oughtta teach 'em!

The Bush administration gave away the treasury of the United States to people who already had money, allowed then to run that money in an unregulated stock market that turned it into a ponzi scheme and then ran for the door leaving his successor holding the bag.

Moving someone making 300,000 a year from 25 to 28% is not a back door middle class tax increase.

Yeah, me too, but Scott and ravens are certainly the loudest on this thread. They may not have all the answers but they make the most noise. I'd actually like it if CC takes 'em on for awhile, I'm tired.:D

For some strange reason LA defense usually goes along with GWB support. Don't know why.

It's weird, it is not nearly that simple, for every liberal fanboy Scribe or ChrisE there is a conservative hater ravens or Socal Scott. For every liberal hater TFF there is a conservative fanboy CentralCalibike, greed and selfishness seems to know no bounds.
Edit: Still doesn't mean I'll like you when you spout some of the stuff you do on the Lance threads Carbon Cranky.

It is simple, there is no correlation between one's affinity for Lance and their political views.

Fortunately for this guy the USA still has a cutting-edge healthcare system.

Sorry I can't find the link. Published recently was a story about health care within NYC that shows that blacks and whites within the same city die at strange and disturbingly different rates because of the hospitals they choose for care. Cancer specialty hospitals in NY are used by the world's elite when they need their life saved and cost is not an issue. It was amazing to think that a little longer bus, train or cab ride could be the difference between life or death.

This is getting too easy.

"When times are tough, you tighten your belts," Obama said, according to a White House transcript of his appearance Tuesday at a high school in North Nashua, N.H.

"You don't go buying a boat when you can barely pay your mortgage," Obama said. "You don't blow a bunch of cash on Vegas when you're trying to save for college. You prioritize. You make tough choices."

As usual, what the Prez says and what he does is very different. Tough choices would include, ummm, I dunno.... CUTTING spending?

Meanwhile Mayor Goodwin was less than impressed.

Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman said during a hastily called news conference that Obama is no friend to Las Vegas and would not be welcomed here if he visits.

"I'll do everything I can to give him the boot," Goodman said. "This president is a real slow learner."

Goodman and others are worried that Obama's words will discourage visitors from coming to Las Vegas and depress the industry further.

"Enough is enough!" Democratic Congresswoman Shelley Berkley said in a statement. "President Obama needs to stop picking on Las Vegas and he needs to let Americans decide for themselves how and where to spend their hard-earned vacation dollars."

Is it me or is the press starting to turn on the President?

Listen Pal, if you think Libs are going to hold the messiah to his own words, you are sadly mistaken. All that matters is 'They Care' and by implication 'You Don't' After all, you want to keep your money when they have so many good intentions that they want to use your money for.

He kept his promises on transparency. Remember all those healthcare discussions on C-Span? Oh, you didn't see them. Wonder why!

Charity is so easy when it's someone else's dough. You Selfish bazztid! :D

I know I shouldn't but I have to ask - what is the difference between a "conservative hater" and a "conservative fanboy" > and where does the greed and selfishness part come in? I have been busy so perhaps I just missed the thought of the thread.
