Kerry says it's inappropriate for Trump to step into German politics

can someone explain to me why it was appropriate for the us govt to hack the german chancellor phones (proven and reacted upon by the mutter) while the honorable dimwit was on the watch...or why it was appropriate for the us under the honourable dimwit's watch to step into iranian, israeli, ukranian, chinese, saudi, syrian, russian, korean etc etc etc etc politics ?

perhaps the honourable dimwit is troubled to understand that no one listens to the irrelevant entity that made its mark by talking too much for years. and very little else...still, better than the neocon colleagues of his

This. Funny how that story circulated for a day or two, then promptly disappeared. I am glad someone brought it up.

indeed interesting, thnx, prof. blutov.

..catching up with the significant news i learned yesterday and just got the time to share. here's 2 curious that prof. blutov would call, file under 'karma' or 'don't pyss into the wind'

how many still remember when the us opposed the iranian participation in the various negotiations, including about syria ? guess what,
Iran opposes US presence at Syria talks in Astana
http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/iran-opposes-us-presence-syria-talks-astana-1393538484

and vlad immediately stepped in to save the day by offering an invite to the the new admin the same day.
Russia Invites Trump to Send Aides to Syria Talks in Astana
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-01-17/russia-invites-trump-to-send-aides-to-syria-talks-in-kazakhstan

even a chess-playing stooge like myself should feel confused by the cunning vlad move  :surprised:

and the news kept rolling...many probably still remember the bloody coup in ukraine but forgot the underlying events. so, to quickly remind, it started with the then president yanuk announcing of his halt of the eu association/integration process. i'm going to skip the aftermath that spilled upward the neo-nazi scum etc etc

the long story short, it appears that the cunning vlad has learned his lesson and the remarkably similar situation (but with the opposite trend) is now developing in an adjacent neighborhood.

In Russia, Moldovan president says he may scrap EU trade pact
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-russia-moldova-eu-idUSKBN151290
the curious detail here is that it also looks like a chess-like move...b/c the new moldova president (dodon) before taking the office was.....the president of their chess federation

the similarities are indeed numerous, deep and worrying. the difference is that main supporter of the ukrainian 'revolutionaries' was poland and america while in moldova it's romania and the us.

waiting now for bulgaria to start trending east...?

Comrade Blutov, did you see what Jane Fonda had to say about the honorable Monsieur Trudeau?

....didn't catch it and am afraid to ask....but lead me to it if time allows.....much curious...

...if its covered here....would argue she is a more than a bit off base.....Trudeau played this file rather well...yes he did approve the pipelines, which placated Alberta, but they are burdened with some pretty onerous safety requirements ( and safety requirements are hard to argue against even in Alberta )...bottom line they will most probably never be built....

....hmmm....

According to some, it all started with Mario Draghi, who back in 2012 said that the ECB would prevent the collapse of the Eurozone "whatever it takes." By saying that, he effectively took the impetus away from Europe's politicians to engage in any real structural reform and promote difficult policy changes, and well, here we are five years later with a "populist" wave sweeping across Europe which is now ex the UK.

And while few are willing to discuss the topic of Europe's viability in the current regime, JPM's Jamie Dimon broke the tranquil setting of Davis where all remains well, to wanr that Europe needs to address disagreements spurring the rise of nationalist leaders or the region’s strong economic ties will break, warning that politicians must get to grips with the discontent that’s spurring support for populist leaders across the continent.

Dimon said he hoped European Union leaders would examine what caused the U.K. to vote to leave and then make changes. That hasn’t happened, and if nationalist politicians including France’s Marine Le Pen rise to power in elections across the region “the euro zone may not survive,” Dimon, 60, said in a Bloomberg Television interview with John Micklethwait.

Not mincing his words, Dimon warned that "what went wrong is going wrong for everybody, not just going wrong for Britain, but in some ways it looks like they’re kind of doubling down,” the JPM CEO said in the interview in Davos. He continued that unless leaders address underlying concerns, “you’re going to have the same political things about immigration, the laws of the country, how much power goes to Brussels

Freedom of movement within the EU is not a negotiable thing. So immigration within the EU will happen because to have truly free movement of services, money and goods you must also have free movement of people. You can tweak within that (ban welfare tourism which barely exists or break up Schengen) but that's it.

If you can stomach to read this:

Up to 13,000 secretly hanged in Syrian jail, says Amnesty
Thousands of other opponents of Assad died from torture and starvation at Saydnaya prison, witness reports suggest
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/feb/07/up-to-13000-secretly-hanged-in-syrian-jail-says-amnesty

But of course, as some have claimed here, Assad isn't all that bad, really.

don and vlad undoubtedly will get into bed together(eeewwww), since Al-assad and vlad not really bad guys. INTENTIONALLY using battlefield weapons on hospitals, playgrounds, against children, not really that bad. don more concerned about the EU and Australia.

That is a revolting article. But I am also not totally shocked based on what Assad was like before the civil war. It will be hard to argue that this atrocity was a Killary inspired false flag operation or a product of the CIA controlled media.

It's easy, you just have to say it's all fake news and propaganda.

Seriously? What kind of bull**** is that. Hearsay or witness reports, it's just how you frame it, right?
The 'Caesar' archive, released in 2014, showed pictures of 11000 prisoners in Syria having been killed through torture and/or neglect.
