Ryo Hazuki said:and they also pulled scratch?? and kept in madison?? To me points race and scratch are way more fun than things like team pursuit, omnium is great too of course but overall I'd rather have less woman events since that sucks anyway
Skip Madness said:The madison isn't in the Olympics any more. The scratch, points race, individual pursuit and time trial aren't in as individual events but are in as part of the omnium. Luckily we now get all this for women as well.
I don't understand why people get so worked up about it. These events are missing from one event every four years. Meanwhile you can watch them all every year at the World Championships and most of them at the World Cups as well.

Also what kind of hairstyle does this archbold fellow have...........................
Ferminal said:Sir looks a bit off... hope for everyone's sake he is in top form next year. Keirin is his best shot for gold though.
Ferminal said:They should get rid of the RR too then.
In fact it would make more sense to get rid of the RR and ITT than the track events.

London comes 2 years too early, or late, depending how you look at things.
Australia back at the top by some margin.
TeamSkyFans said:In the Omnium I think its unlikely that young Sam Harrison will be the GB entry. The british team assumedly will also have Thomas, Swift and Wiggins in it.

Ferminal said:Meares wins the Keirin and goes home with the best haul of any individual.
I missed the Women's Omnium final, I assume Whitten won.
