Flo, I think cn ought to hire you to do a live ticker/EKG of your emotional state through every single pedal stroke of 1 of AC's races. It would look like a graph of a magnitude 15 earthquake. Your actual interpretations would be the verbal and emotional equivalent. And after he won, you'd be all 'told ya' like no big whoop.

Is it more hilly than the Grenoble tt he won twice? Martin on form can put 3 minutes into anyone her on 50k flat. Is there enough incline in here to offset that?

even on canc? i don't think anyone can beat canc when he is at his best on this sort of TT (flat)

I think Cancellara is slightly overrated when it comes to long distance TT's. Sounds weird, but that's the impression i got from the last couple of years.

he has the best aerodynamic, the best engine and he is spartacus.

his problem is recovery.. a long TT after a few mountain stages and he just cannot smoke everyone like he usually does in one day events. add lack of motivation too... he has won everything TT wise..

...and Spartacus, like Wiggo, Froome and Evans, will not be taking part.

Contador or Martin for the win, Wilco Kelderman to surprise with a top 5, Westra with a top 10.

Phinney a bit fluffed at being dropped in the TTT, he'll make top 3 this time or retire!

hmm, Phinney to be so angry about the team time trial that he rides the TT of his life and takes his first elite world TT championship title? Would be awsome! :D

Contador said somewhere that he didn't think the course was hard enough.

On his twitter though he said he reckoned it twice and the first time he missed 2 climbs, maybe that 'interview' was after the first recon.

Actually kinda interesting :D

Kessiakoff would further undermine the prestige of this event.

So would a win by AC- I seriously hope that Martin will double up this year. I still see Froome on the Podium (3rd). AC might well take second. Hopefully a minute down or so.

Froome is not riding.

And why would a win by a rider of the class of Contador undermine the prestige of the event:confused:

He's a very good Time Trialist.

of course is not hard enough.what was vorobyev's average speed?almost 50 km/h?that's not hard enough, probably the big guys will go above 51 km/h for this one.
i still think alberto is one of the favourites

With no spartacus or mod revival,it all comes down too Tony Martin and wether he has top form.If he does its a 2 minuite job;however if not 100% its wide open any of 10 could win

Without Cance or Wiggins the only top favorite left is Tony Martin. Contador and TVG could get close but under normal circumstances I don't expect them to beat him.
However the course is quite tricky and Martin is not at the same level as last year so there could be a surprise.

Tony Martin has this in the bag.

If Contador has a superday, it's possible.

Martin hasn't shown that he's 100 % this year, been a long season for him too and it's not his favorite course. Contador can do it.

He can realise things we wouldn't think are possible, remember fuente de ? ;)

And he's a beast in a TT.
