He is the one who started pronouncing Roman as "KreziNger". Obviously Paul will repeat everything after Phil and somehow others picked up on it too. Even today on Eurosport I heard KreuziNger many times. Go figure

It looks like this was not the Sagan´s but Gilbert´s race to loose. Second best time in Cauberg in history. I agree with Netserk, he was the strongest, Roman the smartest. (probably he knows Sagan better than Phil ).
If Gilbert had believed more to his ability to win than he had cared about Sagan form from Wednesday he would have won easily.

Great ride by Kreuziger, he looked determined and very strong. Hopefully he gets a chance to top 10 at Liege.

Nice ride by all the breakaway riders, Grivko is a tank, Vansummeren nailed it on the flats, Weening looked very strong and used great team tactics to put other teams under pressure, the Blanco duo showed off good strength and Mikel was just awesome.


Gilbert was very, very strong- i think he should be the favourite for the other Ardennes, especially F-W now that JROD crashed. Gerrans and Valverde showed they are the closest contenders (Gerrans impressed me quite a bit) and both have strong teams to challenge BMC, Albasini, Clarke and Weening/ Quintana, Costa and Visconti.

A real pity that Voeckler crashed.
The race was not that exciting but i liked OGE/ others animating the race and the last 30 km were.

I wouldn't say it bothers him generally, what bother him was big change of the weather/temperature during a hard race after being used to much much lower temperatures. The body just went into a shock and wasn't able to perform the performance we(sagan) were used to. With more kms during such weather, sagan will probably be more than fine. The question now is, how fast he can adapt. Provided that he should be starting FW, they expect him to adapt very soon.

He can handle the classic distance, but he's not the best at 250km+ races.

Milan-San Remo this year was cut short in distance and so was Gent-Wevelgem.

Guys like Cancellara and Boonen just handle the distance better than he does. Boonen was 21 when he first podiumed a Monument. Of course Sagan is still young, but that doesn't automatically mean he'll improve. Once Cancellara and Boonen start declining he'll probablly start winning though.

FW is a relatively short race and the uphill finish should suit him. He's racing a lot though...

I don't know if everybody have seen this, but according to Feltet.dk Vansummeren called Astarloza an idiot in the press after the race and not thinking straight, and said that it was what was to be expected of a Spaniard, because the economic crisis in Spain is what happens when you don't think straigt.

Hard to tell if distance is the problem. MSR, AGR 2012 says the opposite.

Those companies doesn't have any productioncrew. The have French and belgium crews to produce their races.

You can't blame the TV broadcaster for relay problems between the motorcycles and the plane flying above the course.

I the weather is wrong the relay wont work and you have to find other alternatives.

Think back to the tour. Many times we have been looking on images from the finishbecause the weather was bad in the mountains.

I can't remember your opinion regarding Sagan's pinching, so this isn't directed to you.

Funny how Vansummeren can be given the benefit of doubt regarding just a bad joke, when everyone was dead serious about Sagan.
