What's the problem? It's not that different than to link to youtube videos.

Jancouver said:Are you saying Phil Liggett is Greek? I always thought that he is just an old senile fart and that was the reason for calling him KreuziNger. He is the one who started pronouncing Roman as "KreziNger". Obviously Paul will repeat everything after Phil and somehow others picked up on it too. Even today on Eurosport I heard KreuziNger many times. Go figure![]()
greenedge said:Nice ride by all the breakaway riders, Grivko is a tank, Vansummeren nailed it on the flats, Weening looked very strong and used great team tactics to put other teams under pressure, the Blanco duo showed off good strength and Mikel was just awesome.
RedheadDane said:Eeeh... just a question:
Now I've a couple of times heard/read the race referred to as "very hot"!
How hot's very hot? It's the Netherlands in April, can't've been that hot, surely!![]()
Pentacycle said:23 degrees, what do you have in Denmark then?
Cimber said:Today 17
Anyways, while 23 is exceptionally high, the point is that it might feel very hot when u have been used to race in 0-8 degrees for 2 months.

"Such an idiot. We had traveled together throughout the day, and he would suddenly go himself. What realistic chance had he at all? It was like running into a wall with the headwind. I had problems at Gulperberg, but if he had taken it a bit quiet, so we had found each other again, and had been able to cover each of the wind on the flat pieces, "grumbled Vansummeren to the Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad.
And Garmin-Sharp rider was apparently so excited that he fell into nationalistic prejudices:
"Well, he is a Spaniard. It's not for nothing that they have great economic crisis. It's the kind that naturally happens when you do not think. There were also problems with him before he ran off. He made all the time holes and was very behind and did nothing without taking subways. And then he suddenly rushing and running away. "
El Pistolero said:He can handle the classic distance, but he's not the best at 250km+ races.
Milan-San Remo this year was cut short in distance and so was Gent-Wevelgem.
Guys like Cancellara and Boonen just handle the distance better than he does. Boonen was 21 when he first podiumed a Monument. Of course Sagan is still young, but that doesn't automatically mean he'll improve. Once Cancellara and Boonen start declining he'll probablly start winning though.
FW is a relatively short race and the uphill finish should suit him. He's racing a lot though...
So the translation was not completely off right?Originally posted by Het Nieuwsblad
Waarna Vansummeren ontstak in cynisme. ‘Maar ja, het is een Spanjaard hé. Het is niet voor niets dat het daar economische crisis is. Zoiets komt niet van te hard na te denken natuurlijk.'
‘Ik had het eerder al met die Asterloza aan de stok gehad. Hij liet de hele tijd gaten vallen en zat achteraan te linkeballen. En dan gaat hij ineens aanvallen.'

I can't remember your opinion regarding Sagan's pinching, so this isn't directed to you.maltiv said:It might not have been meant as a serious comment by Vansummeren, maybe it was just a bad joke? We can't possibly know that just by reading the interview.
Anyway, tired and disappointed riders say stupid ****. I don't think we should put too much into it.
