Very hot!
The only advantage is that the laundry I hung to try this noon is already dry.

Also, it was raining this morning, so I could sit on my - closed - balcony eating breakfast, listening to the rain. :hearteyecat:

We had a heatwave last weekend where it reached 100F, eeek! No rain in the forecast for us, but nice to hear you're getting some. 🙂

New temperature record for Germany today but probably only for one day and after that possibly also for one day. I can‘t wait for next week and the end of the heatwave.

Yes... it's too hot... this is illegal!

Excuse me! I was promised thunder!
Where is it?

Massive heat bubble/dome parked over several Western states -- and not moving out anytime soon. Here in Denver we're seeing temps over the next 7-10 days with highs in the upper 90s & lows in the upper 60s (averages for this time of year is 88 & 62). Utah & Montana are getting particularly hard hit with SLC & Billings setting all-time highs of 109 F & 111 F! This video explains this phenomenon -- it's like something out of a science fiction movie:

And if things couldn't have gotten any worse, we're experiencing the 7th largest wildfire in state history (Aspin fire/100k acres) located southwest of Pueblo -- about 100 miles south of Denver. And we've been getting a nice steady stream of the smoke prompting hazardous air alerts to go along with the extreme heat advisory. A splendid time to be living in Denver. Lol.

We had crazy rains and powerful tornadoes in June, both uncommon for Manitoba. Overland flooding then, rivers in flood stage now in western parts of the province. This weekend we are undergoing a heatwave, with temperatures in the mid to high 30s Celsius (high 90s F). Just a few hours ago my city set its all time record for humidex (not quite the same as heat index) at nearly 50 C.

Overnight low is 27 C. This is like Delhi weather. I hate it. Needless to say I haven't been logging any kilometers on the bike in the last few days.
