Update 14

First of all, a big thank you to snccdcno for putting together the previous update while I was on holiday. I'm back and ready to post again :)

This update includes some pretty big scores. The highest scoring rider (over 100 points) was Hodeg, but several others scored in the 60-80 range as well. Our top-2 highest scorers, Ludwigzgz and Trudgin, were the only two players with the Quick Step combo of Hodeg (104), Narvaez (87) and Knox (85). 3rd highest scorer torcia_86 combined Hodeg and Knox with 60 points from rare pick Carpenter, the only other player with Carpenter is 4th ranked Leadbelly. He's almost last in the overall ranking, but can be satisfied with a nice performance this update with points from Hodeg, Carpenter and also 79 from almost unique pick Johansen.

Ludwigzgz, Roubaix and Jpettersen share the honors as highest movers, all moving up 4 places. Roubaix and Jpettersen both have Hodeg and Knox, they have no third heavy hitter, but several riders scoring smaller points instead.

Overall, we have a big change in the top of the ranking. Trudgin jumps from 4th place all the way to 1st, pushing former leader Hakkie2 down to 2nd place. The gaps are still really small in the top regions, but it'll be interesting to see how this develops.

Update 15
The recent American races saw several young riders deliver some great performances, and as a result we have quite an interesting update. Some of the most popular picks scored decent points but as often is the case it were the rarer picks that made the difference. Case in point: this update's highest scorer is Leadbelly, thanks to more than 250 points from Sepp Kuss, a unique pick. His other two main scorers, Neilson Powless and Robin Carpenter, are also quite rare picks. A nice result for Leadbelly to frame and hang over his bed, but unfortunately he is still positioned in the lower regions of the rankings despite moving up 4 positions.

2nd highest scorer, more than 100 points behind, is TheArt, scoring with rare picks Powless and Jan-Willem van Schip, and less rare picks Philipsen and Jakobsen.
3rd highest scorer is Josedin, shared with Jon Ezeitza. Josedin's main scorer was Steff Cras, again, a rare pick. He also scored significant points with Philipsen, Jakobsen and Lambrecht.
Jon had 5 riders score significant points which added up to a nice total. These riders are Jakobsen, Philipsen, Powless and Pascal Eenkhoorn and Nicola Conci.

Leadbelly was, together with Jon Ezeitza, the highest mover. TheArt and comodoro are 3rd in this ranking, comodoro has Philipsen and Jakobsen as well as rare pick Van Schip.

Overall, TheArt moves up 3 spots to 5th and comodoro jumps into the top-10, to 8th place, but most importantly, Trudgin increases her lead by some 50 points.

Update 16

This update includes 3 weeks instead of 2, as I couldn't find/make time to get one out last week, so the scores will seem higher than they actually are.

Highest scorer is comodoro. Only 3 riders on his team didn't score any points. Main scorers were the Quickstep duo Hodeg and Jakobsen, and rare picks Tadej Pogacar (winner of the Tour de l'Avenir) and Van Schip. With this performance, comodoro is also the highest mover, climbing 4 spots to 4th overall.

TheArt is the 2nd highest scorer, scoring points with Hodeg, Madouas, Jakobsen and Van Schip and also expensive rare pick Neilson Powless, amongst others. TheArt is now 3rd overall.
Third highest scorer is Roubaix, thanks to major points from, again, Hodeg, Madouas, Jakobsen and Powless.

Overall, Trudgin again slightly increased her lead compared to 2nd place to almost 100 points, but she now also has to watch TheArt, who is just 2 points behind Hakkie2. We see some minor movement in the top-10 with a few names moving up or dropping 2 places, but rote_lanterne had a shocker and lost 5 places, she is now 11th.

Update 17
Some pretty big scores and also some big changes in this update. TheArt is the highest scorer with a whopping 396 points, 150 of which were scored by Jasper Philipsen. Philipsen had a great week last week, he scored 4 top-10s, two in 1.1 races and 2 in 1.HC races. Just goes to show that even though it may feel like the season is coming to a close, there are still many points to be scored that could potentially turn this competition upside down.
TheArt also scored major points with Bram Welten, Jan-Willem van Schip, Fabio Jakobsen, Valentin Madouas and rare zero-point pick Julius Johansen.

Second highest scorer in this update is search. Of course, he also has Philipsen, he was picked 14 times and will feature in many of the highest scoring teams. Welten is on search's team as well, as is Marco Tizza, a rare but pretty expensive pick, but scoring almost 100 points in the last week he has become a quite decent pick.
Hakkie2 is the third highest scorer, scoring points with Philipsen, Welten, Jakobsen and rare pick Leonardo Basso.

Thanks to his big score, search is the highest mover in this update, but he shares the honors with me. I didn't pick Philipsen, but I am the only one together with search to select Tizza, and also scored with Welten, Jakobsen and rare picks Bruno Armirail and Steff Cras. We both move up 5 spots.

Third highest mover is rote_lanterne. On her team, only 4 riders scored points, but with Philipsen and Welten among them, it's enough to climb 4 spots to 7th overall.

Overall, we see a change at the top of the leaderboard as TheArt leaps from 3rd to 1st, at the expense of Trudgin. TheArt now has a pretty healthy lead but I am looking forward towards the results from the World Championships to see how those will affect our ranking.

Update 18
Haven't really got time this week to write a detailed update, so a slightly shorter one will have to do this time :)

The scores aren't that high in this update, which makes sense because there usually aren't many races that run alongside the Worlds. Kazistuta is the highest scorer, mainly thanks to Madouas big score (134 points). Madouas has been consistently strong all season, quite impressive for a 1st year pro, and at 561 points for a cost of 33 he is surely one of the best picks of this game.
Very important to note that TheArt was the 2nd highest scorer. He was of course the overall leader in the last update, and obviously has increased his lead now. He also scored mainly with Madouas, like many in the top-10 highest scorers, but interestingly monsieur_hulot, who is tied with TheArt for 2nd highest scorer, got most of his points from unique pick Meron Berhane, who finished 2nd in the Tour of Iran-Azerbaijan. Monsieur_hulot is also the highest scorer, together with LosBrolin, both moved up 4 spots.

Overall, the podium remains the same, with TheArt leading ahead of Hakkie2 and Trudgin. Josedin moves up to 4th.

Update 19
We've reached the end of the season, but even though it feels like the season finished after Lombardia, we still had two WorldTour events in the last weeks, and with most big names on the beach already it was time for the youngsters to score some points. This update's highest scorer is faunier, with a massive 451 point score. 11 of his 15 riders managed to collect some points. Big hitters were Jakobsen (156 points), Hodeg (78 points) and Fabbro (64 points), as well as Imerio Cima and Robert Stannard. With this performance, fauniera moves up two places inside the top-10, to 6th place overall.

Second highest scorer is Roubaix, he also has the three biggest scorers Jakobsen, Hodeg and Fabbro, and adds points from amongst others James Knox and unique pick Gonzalo Serrano. Roubaix climbs from 10th to 9th overall.
Third highest scorer and also the highest mover is Ludwigzgz, he has Jakobsen and Hodeg but not Fabbro, but he also scored with Narvaez, Sivakov and rare pick Bjerg. Ludwigzgz climbs 3 places and jumps into the top-10.

Overall, the top-3 stays the same. Hakkie2 made some gains this update but none of the top-10 have riders racing in the ongoing Tour of Hainan, so I think we can congratulate TheArt as this year's winner! :) And of course, we also have to congratulate the rest of the podium, Hakkie2 in 2nd and Trudgin in 3rd. The only rider active that could still cause some shifts seems to be Imerio Cima who is collecting some top-10's in Hainan, but unless he manages to collect a big number of points, this should be the final update for this year's edition. Thanks everyone for playing! :)
