Watching them in the sand last night it felt like Nys was struggling in the sand like Pidcock used to as he is just a lighter rider. But hitting the post was definitely a mistake though 😀
There’s still hope she might get some competition. Shirin could continue to improve, Backstedt could come back a little bit stronger, Puck could find that little she’s been missing…
Pidcock bringing mvdp back at Diegem and being competitive at flatish courses was awesome. It’s a shame he didn’t drop into Namur which is perfect for him (i still remember him coming back from last to first at Namur with ease)
I watched this today in Gatineau and by lap four half the “peloton” were Visma riders. Pretty sure they took it easy after that but still managed a nice 1-2-3! I also wondered why they are here… Lovely spot to watch a race though
I had belief in Vinge in high mountains before 2024, but i just can’t see how anyone could beat that Pog. Maybe im wrong though and Visma have this well planned?
