A shame, I never like to see the Sauces team win races……
At least my least favourite woman did not win the women's race! What a tremendous ride from Casasola , of course she has always promised but today her tactics/strength were great.

Overijse delivered in men's race with Vanthourenhout showing measured ride after early delay and powering away from Ronhaar on final lap .Good stuff!

Two very similar second places in a row for Ronhaar, riding a little bit overeagerly and then not having enough left in the final lap. The first win since his health issues is close, but he'll have to ride a little bit smarter to get it.

I don't like watching Iserbyt win races. I don't like watching Vanthourenhout helping Iserbyt win races. But I do like watching Vanthourenhout win races, and I really enjoyed the disfunction back when Sweek was riding with them. :D

Vanthourenhout reminds me of a Sleestak, and I never want to see a Sleestak win:

The everyday glamour of being a cyclocross star is… amazing. I’m both impressed and happy that these young men and women have chosen this lifestyle and careers, for our entertainment. It’s not an easy one by any means.

It's a lot easier if you're Belgian/ Dutch to make a career out of it.........and until that changes it will remain a niche discipline in cycling.

I think if you ask them most will say that they prefer cyclocross to road cycling. I think even Pogacar would gladly be able to compete in cyclocross.

I recall the 1st Cyclocross race I ever saw , 1992 Worlds in Leeds England .
I don't recall the winner but I remember Claudio Chiappuchi, he had no chance of winning but was competing , I guess because he loved it?
